Release highlights

1. Data Catalog: View structures classified by other metadata other than system

Up to this version, Data Catalog was presenting data structures grouped by system. Now it is also possible to have alternative views of the structures where they are grouped by a different criteria other than system, e.g. storage type, processing type. You can use either technical metadata or functional metadata (notes) to set up the new view.

There is a new menu option to configure the new views: Catalog Views

Once a new view is set up, you will be able to navigate to if from a new menu option that will be created under Data Catalog.

2. Personalize search criteria

You can decide which fields from the template should be taken into account when performing a search and their priority when the results are returned. The search engine will first to find an exact match on the name and if found, that will be displayed at the top of the results list. Then it will look for matches in all the fields from the template that has been marked as "searchable" and will take into account the boosting defined to sort them out when presenting the results.
