Systems management

From the initial view of the systems catalog, the administrator users can create a new system or enter an existing system to modify their data.

The mandatory data to fill in for a system will be:

• Name: It will be the name that is shown to users. It should be descriptive enough for catalog users to identify what metadata you are referencing.

• External ID: Identifier used by connectors to load metadata. It must be unique within the application.

A system may also have additional metadata according to installation requirements. To do this, a template with name System and scope dd must be registered.

This will allow us to enter information at the system level as we have defined in our template in such a way that said information is available to all users who have access to system structures.
