# Truedat AI Assistant

Truedat's AI Assistant is an intelligent feature designed to help you quickly find and understand information stored in your data governance platform. Instead of navigating through multiple sections, you can simply ask questions in natural language and get immediate answers about your business concepts, data structures, and quality implementations.

#### What Can the AI Assistant Help With?

The AI Assistant can help you:

* Discover Business Concepts: Find definitions, related terms, and understand business terminology used in your organization.
* Explore Data Structures: Get information about tables, fields, data types, and metadata.
* Understand Quality Rules: Learn about quality implementations, rules, and their results.
* Quick Information Retrieval: Access information faster without navigating through multiple menus.

#### How to Access the AI Assistant

The AI Assistant is available throughout Truedat:

1\. Look for the **AI Assistant icon** <img src="/files/D0ls5HdoG5tDtmpf929T" alt="" data-size="line"> in the top navigation bar.

2\. Click the icon to open the AI Assistant panel.

3\. The assistant panel will appear on the right side of your screen.

4\. You can minimize or close it at any time and resume your conversation later.
